Orthopaedic and Sports Rehabilitation

With the practice of active living and the rapid growth in knowledge in the areas of biomechanics, movement sciences and injury prevention, the field of musculoskeletal research has evolved into a major area in rehabilitation sciences. The department is committed to advance the field of musculoskeletal research by bridging basic science research and clinical practice. The team for musculoskeletal research in our department includes experts in both occupational therapy and physiotherapy and their range of interests covers a broad spectrum of different body parts, disease patterns, age groups and clinical intervention programmes. It is the endeavour of the department to produce scientific evidence for our clinical practice in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and beyond
